Swim and Dive Team Coach Profiles.

Swim Team Coaches

Head Coach: Jennifer Marks
Hi! I have a love for swimming, a love for young people, and for this reason I will be the head coach for Miami Hills again! I swam competitively in high school and college, taught swim lessons and coached previously. I love kayaking, snorkeling and everything related to water. My husband and I have been married for over 20 years and have 3 kids on the team. Our family is thankful for such a great facility and wonderful people. I am happy to use my years of experience to provide a hard-working, encouraging and fun environment where athletes can learn to swim stronger and faster. I am excited to work with the swimmers in a coaching capacity this summer.

Assistant Coach:  Sydney Hanna
Hello, my name is Sydney Hanna. A graduate of Ursuline Academy, I have been studying Business Administration and Physical Therapy at Mercer University. I was a competitive swimmer from the time I was 6 to 17 years old. I have swum for Miami Hills, M.A.S.T., Mercy Health Plex Sea Wolves and Ursuline Academy Lions. I was forced to quit competitive swimming at the end of my Junior HS career due to continuous injury. I’m looking forward to bringing my love of the sport to the Dolphins this summer.

Assistant Coach:  Kate Schaeffer
Hi! My name is Kate Schaeffer. I am a 2017 Milford HS graduate and have been attending Ohio University for Early Childhood Education. I started swimming with the Miami Hills Dolphins when I was 7 and then swam for the Milford Eagles for 3 years. I also played Water Polo at Milford for 3 years. I love to come and hang out at the pool with my friends and swim in my free time. I am very excited to be a part of the Miami Hills Dolphins Coaching Team and bring that excitement to all the great kids! Let’s have a great season! Go Dolphins!!

Felicia is just about to begin her freshman year at the University of Kentucky, studying Neuroscience. She will also be on UK’s dance team. Felicia had been swimming at Miami Hills since the forth grade and had had an amazing year teaching with her brother.
