Lesson Instructors. Swim, Dive & Tennis

Mary D’Errico- Ahoy, my name is Mary D’Errico and I will directing the Swim Lessons program this summer. I have been an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor since 1976. I have taught swim lessons and directed various swim lesson programs in Pennsylvania and here in the Milford. I have assisted, co-directed, and coordinated this program as requested by Andy Wilson, Pool Manager for the past 20 years. I am looking forward to yet another fun and successful summer for all of our young swimmers.  If you ever have any questions about lessons, instruction, water safety or stroke development, please do not hesitate to ask.

Marlee McCloud – Hi! My name is Marlee McCloud and I am a Spanish student at Capital University. I attended Milford High School and was a member of the diving team from the seventh grade through my senior year. Currently at Capital I am a part of the Women’s Lacrosse Team. This will be my fourth summer at Miami Hills and I am so excited to coach diving again and work with all of the kids!

Salvatore Marino – Salvatore is an ecstatic guy with a love for the boards. This is his second year coaching and fourth year teaching Diving. Salvatore is studying Biology at the University of Cincinnati. This past year he coached three high schools: Walnut Hills, Wyoming and Ursuline Academy. He took Wyoming and Walnut to State. He currently holds the McNicholas High School Men’s Dive records for both 6 and 11 dives. He earned 20th in the OHSAA State Diving Championship for Ohio. Salvatore currently dives for Cincinnati Diving Academy. This is his 9th year diving and he is exuberant to coach diving, one splash at a time.

Michael Neverman – I currently attend the University of Cincinnati. I graduated from Milford High School in 2012. I have been playing tennis for over 13 years, and I have a great passion for the game. I started off just playing with my mother and siblings, and then I began to take lessons and eventually started playing competitively. I started taking lessons at Beechmont Racquet Club under Jerry Howard, and when I was about 14 years old I switched over to Harper’s and took lessons under Donnie Jackson.

Throughout high school I played top singles for Milford and also frequently played in USTA tournaments. I have been instructing tennis for over 5 years at Miami Hills, and it has been a fantastic experience. This past fall, I started instructing the junior tennis program at Eastern Hills Indoor. I have a great understanding and knowledge of the game of tennis and I look forward to sharing that with all of you this summer!
